Definately a great place to go. When I went, I stayed on the main island on Seven Mile Beach. By far the best snorkeling that I have ever done. I spent one whole day swimming up and down the coast of the island – didn’t have enough sun lotion on my back, so that kinda hurt later on, but the underwater view was awesome. I remember one area where there was a sunken boat off of the coast that I snorkled through.

I look forward to going back sometime.

This was such a disappointing vacation. Once you get all the “tourist” stops out of the way- stingray city, turtle bay etc. There is nothing to do, I stayed at seven mile beach, and was not impressed at all. The beach is pretty, but not spectacular- my last trip I went to Belize- and it was so much prettier, much less expensive, and had much more sea life to see! Wouldn’t recommend the cayman islands at all.

I love your name!!! I am so sorry that you had a bad experience at the Cayman Islands. I also went to Belize last Summer and loved it so much that I want to go back soon. We drove from the Mayan Riviera to Belize and stayed only for a day since we had to go back to our resort, but we wished we had stayed longer. It is beautiful and cheap as you mentioned. Definitely a vacation spot to go back many times.

I honestly do not know much about jobs and other opportunities at the Cayman Island. I would recommend you to search on the websites of some businesses/multinational companies that can match your professional criteria, so you can apply directly and receive a work visa. Try to check for countries that have low supply of electricians and offer great potential on you field. There are many opportunities for people like you, me, and others in many places. As a business student, I was taught that companies like diversity and people with new perspectives, so keep trying because I am sure you can find what you are looking for. Never give up!

I am looking to get married on an island when we dock from our cruise and from what I have been told cayman beaches are the best we dont need cheap(like bella said for belize, which i have heard from everyone that has been there was terrible) we like to pay what ever if it it worth it,has anyone got married on 7 mile beach ?

Hi Sue,

Congratulations on your up coming wedding! I do not know anyone that has married on the 7 mile beach, but I would recommend St. Lucia, St. Martin, and/or the Riviera Mayan (Tulum). My husband and I went to a wedding on the Riviera Mayan and it was amazing. The ceremony and party were on the beach, and they had flowers and candles all around, live music, and great mexican food.

This advantage is what makes all inclusive deals potentially cheap. Some deals can be tailored according to your budget. What makes this cheap is that your budget can include more into the package as opposed to purchasing the same ?items? individually. All this, of course, depends on where you find your deal, which will determine if your all inclusive trip will be cheap or not. This will be tackled in the next advantage of all inclusive trips.
