Water is essential for life.
You should hydrate yourself before you train, while you exercise and after you workout.
Your body is 60% water. The natural processes of perspiration, breathing, and using the toilet expel water. You need to replace that with about 2 liters a day. However when you are active you may need more. You need water to keep the ear, nose and throat moist and to transport nutrients in the body and flush out the toxins.
The Mayo Clinic and the Institute of Medicine reviewed research on how much water we should drink. Click the links for details: Mayo Clinic Institute of Medicine
Drink up!
Hey Jose! It was really nice meeting you today. Thanks for your support! Hopefully you can come up to Bmore and rest one of my classes.
Yes I love water, but really should drink it a lot more.
Try this Carmen.
As soon as you wake up and before you brush your teeth, drink 20 ounces of room temperature water. Wait a half hour before you eat breakfast.
This morning ritual starts you out hydrated and helps flush away the toxins. These benefits alone are worth the effort. I have read exaggerated claims about weight loss and disease cures using this. I can’t vouch for that, however try it yourself for a few weeks and see what results you achieve.
To your health! Cheers
